Over the years, Academic Advisors have generally been an top of programs and are always able to help. This year in 2016, Academic Advisors have become not only old but useless. I went into the college this year to get some advice on school and the senior (literally) Academic advisor refused to help me. Told me to talk to advisors at the University I was looking to apply at. Not once was helpful so pretty much she wasted my time by refusing to do her job.
My advice, don't bother wasting your time to see an Academic Advisor, they don't care about their job nor care about the present or past students, all there for is to get paid. Your better off looking at a college that ACTUALLY is helpful.
